A friendly family tradition

In 1934 Max and Ena Jaffer purchased one of six cottages on St Vincent Street, and went on to establish Jaffers furniture, eventually would purchase the remaining five cottages and transform them into the large Jaffers show room that exists today. The building has since been state heritage listed.

Jaffers furniture continues to be owned and operated by the Jaffer family.
Roger & Heather Jaffer, Ben, and Simone, along with their highly experienced staff, are all working together to provide the people of Adelaide and regional South Australia, a realistically priced choice of quality local, Australian made and, imported furniture and decorator items.

At Jaffers furniture you will not find any high-pressure sales staff, just good value, along with a high level of personal service. Jaffers has not been in business for seventy four years and earned the outstanding reputation they have by being just average – it has taken hard work, dedication and three generations of family commitment.

Jaffers furniture has a huge range of modern, contemporary and traditional furniture. With literally hundreds of choices in lounge and Dining suites, bedroom furniture, occasional furniture, fabrics, leathers, timbers, timber stains, and decorator accessories.

Jaffers Seniors section was established 8 years ago, it boasts Adelaide’s largest selection of furniture proportionally designed especially for retirement units, aged care facility rooms and virtually anywhere that space is of a minimum.
